A New Live-Action Star Wars Series Coming to Disney Plus

There is a new live-action Star Wars series is reportedly heading to Disney+.  According to Variety, Leslye Headland, co-creator, and executive producer of Russian Doll on Netflix, will serve as the new Star Wars series’s writer and showrunner.

While the plot and character details are yet to be revealed, reports state that the forthcoming series will focus on a female lead.

Currently, Disney and Lucasfilm are working hard on the next season of the Disney+ Star Wars series, The Mandalorian

The new Star Wars series will also supposedly take place in a time different from the other Star Wars projects on Disney+, so this means that direct crossovers with the Rogue One prequel series (focused on Cassian Andor), the Obi-Wan Kenobi and The Mandalorian series are highly unlikely.
