Since 2013 Apple AR Glasses are in the news, but it was in 2017 WWDC that official announcement of Apple ARKit cleared the mist. Today, some new buzz is making rounds in the rumor mills that hint at AR glasses making way by 2020.

The American Multinational company is trying hard to expand its offering of hardware products in addition to doubling its services businesses, like the Apple streaming service and AR glasses seem to be another initiative in this verge of claiming the throne of electronic products, as it will profusely rely on the user’s iPhone.

Expected Features

The Apple AR glasses are expected to be made more for the mainstream users and so it will not only superimpose 3D images but will also leverage Bluetooth to track the lost devices. According to Kuo, the spectacles might also lay the groundwork for the 2023 and 2025 Apple car system, which will help users in driving by pointing out to the traffic signals and other signs on the road.

Rumored Launch Date

The recent report by Kuo has highlighted the possibility of American tech giant begin the mass production of the spectacles even before the year 2019 bids adieu and could get rolled out in the market by mid-2020. In fact, it is speculated that the Apple AR glasses get launched at WWDC in March 2020 or the iPhone event scheduled for the next year.

Rumored Price

Although it is hard to imagine the cost of the Apple AR glasses as there is no direct precedent of it available in the market. However, if the Nikkei Asian Review report is to be believed then it might carry a price tag of US $1,000.

If compared with its competitors like Microsoft’s HoloLens 2 or even the Magic Leap One, which are priced more than US $2,000, there are chances that the Apple AR glasses hit the shelves with a higher price tag. With respect to the Google Glass, which was launched in 2013 at the US $1,500, it appears that definitely, the price of the spectacles is going to be more than the rumored the US $1,000.

Despite saying all this, it is necessary to highlight that nothing has been officially stated about the launch of AR glasses. So the users need to wait to see what the reality is, the same goes to Google’s Future of Gaming.
