Apple is becoming predictable with time. The recent event of the tech giant was not filled with surprises, and most of the information released was guessed by most people. The event was as exciting as WWDC 2019 only due to the enthusiasm of the fans. Here you can know everything that was announced by the brand, besides the obvious launch of iPhone 11 and its big brothers.

Apple Arcade

No matter whether you own any Apple smartphone, iPad, iPod Touch, or even an Apple TV, you can enjoy Arcade, the world’s first game subscription service announced at the event. If you choose it, you can get access to 100 exclusive new games. You don’t even have to pay an upfront fee. Just go for a subscription and play any game instantly. You can also get access to game trailers and sneak peeks or game guides too. It will cost AUD 7.99 and will be launched on September 20, 2019. On top of that, the first month is free! (The period is less than Apple Music, which is free for 3 months!)

Apple TV Plus

Another thing we consider important is the news of Apple TV Plus. Tim Cook revealed that it will be available in 100 nations on November 1 and will cost AUD 7.99 a month. If you buy any iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple TV, you will get a free one-year trial too!

Apple’s Head of Worldwide video, Jamie Erlicht said “Apple TV+ is an unprecedented global video service with an all-original slate. We look forward to giving audiences everywhere the opportunity to enjoy these compelling stories within a rich, personalised experience on all the screens they love.”

7th Generation iPad OS

The 7th-gen iPad and iPad OS have the 3X amount of pixels, 10.2 inches retina display, 2.5 times the brightness, 3.7 times wider viewing angle and are 2 times faster than Apple PCs. It has new features like the ability to switch between multiple screens, connecting an SD card, a floating keyboard, and much more. Apple’s seventh-generation iPad will be launched in Australia on September 30 and will start from AUD 529 for the Wi-Fi model (RRP) and AUD 729 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular model (RRP).

Apple Watch

The last thing we want to mention before we fawn over iPhone 11 is the Apple watch series 5. It can call an emergency contact in 150 nations even without an iPhone. The aluminium models are available in silver, golden, and space grey, and all of them are 100% recycled. The classics like stainless steel in silver, black and gold are still there. The association with Hermes is still intact, and the availability of Dark Arts and Della Cavalleria proved that. Apple Watch Series 5 (GPS) will arrive at the RRP AUD 649 while Apple Watch Series 5 (GPS + Cellular) will have an RRP of AUD 799. Cycle tracking, 18-hour battery life, and updated location features are worthy of a mention here.

iPhone 11

The wait has ended as we’ll talk about iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max now. Yes, the three of them as Apple is rarely satisfied with just one iPhone launch.

iPhone 11 is available in six colours, green, red, purple, white, black, and yellow. It has spatial audio. It also has an anodised aluminium and glass design, innovative 6.1-inch LCD TrueTone display, an extra hour of battery life, two 12 MP cameras (wide and ultra-wide), night mode for low-light images and a Slo-Mo selfie feature. It’s powered by A13 Bionic processor. The powerful chip has over 8.5 billion transistors. The 64 GB variation of iPhone 11 will cost AUD 1200, 128 GB version will cost AUD 1,280, and the 256 GB version will cost AUD 1,500.

iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max

The iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max have the toughest glass in the history of smartphones. They are rated IP68 for water resistance. It means they can survive up to 4 meters for a maximum of 30 minutes. What we liked best was that it allows us to not worry about soda or coffee spills while using the device.

Another layer of protection is added by the new Super Retina XDR display. It is an innovative and custom-designed OLED that allows you to enjoy an immersive HDR viewing experience for HD videos and movies that have up to 1,200 nits brightness.

The battery life is also amazing. iPhone 11 Pro provides up to four hours of battery life in a day as compared to iPhone Xs while iPhone Pro Max does better by offering up to 5 hours more battery life than an iPhone Xs Max.

iPhone 11 Pro is way better than iPhone 11 as the former has three cameras (Wide, Ultra-Wide, and Telephoto). Each camera records 4K video that comes with a wider field of view, extended dynamic range, larger focal plane, and cinematic video stabilization. You are free to zoom between each of the three cameras. The editing tools of iPhone 11 Pro are also impressive as you can rotate, crop, apply filters and increase exposure in the videos.

iPhone 11 Pro has a matte finish on the back. It’s also available in new interesting colours like silver, green, space grey and gold.

If you intend to buy a 64 GB iPhone 11 Pro, you will need to pay AUD 1,750. For a 128 GB version, you must pay AUD 2,000, while the 256 GB version will cost AUD 2,350.

To buy iPhone 11 Pro Max 64 GB version, you have to pay AUD 1,900. For the 128 GB version, you need to pay AUD 2,150, and for the 256 GB version, you need to pay AUD 2,500.

Apple CEO Tim Cook appreciated iPhone 11 by saying it’s for customers looking for a “most sophisticated technology.” We think he is quite right as all the features of iPhone 11, Pro and Max Pro are making our head spin! But we still think the event was not as amazing as we hoped it to be.
