Every fairy-tale love story comes to an end, and it seems that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s love story is also ending on a bitter note. The power couple is reportedly seeking a divorce after six years of marriage and five gorgeous kids. This might be a huge blow for the couple who has dominated the pop culture news for the better part of a decade. West’s very public battle with mental health issues was a major chunk of the attention they grabbed.

Reports say that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are over and in settlement talks. Kim has apparently hired divorce attorney, Laura Wasser. Still, it is yet to be clarified whether she has hired the lawyer for final divorce proceedings or a retainer. Some reports also say that the couple is seeking marriage counselling to repair their troubled relationship.

One of the key reasons why the power couple is headed for divorce is that West seems to be tired of Kim Kardashian’s family, the entire Kardashian clan, and their lifestyle. Kim, on the other hand, seems to have enough of West’s “crazy shit”.

 

There are many other reasons why Kim Kardashian and Kanye West might go for divorce this time. One alleged contention point is that West showed up late and left early during his wife’s 40^th birthday celebration and did not even appear in any Instagram shots with the Kardashians. The only worthwhile thing he did was to bring a hologram of her father, Robert Kardashian.

Another alleged point of contention is that the couple does not see eye to eye regarding their USD 40 (about AUD 51.34) million family home in Calabasas. There, West owns an actual house while the Kardashians own the land and adjoining lots.

 

The couple also does not agree on the career choices the other partner is making. West is not liking Kim Kardashian’s idea of being a lawyer or her prison reform campaign while she did not support him (and supported Joe Biden) when he signed up for the Presidential election. West shared very personal details about their marriage like the fact he almost killed his daughter North when Kim was pregnant during a campaign speech, and Kim was shocked by his decision to make these private things public.

 

Reports also say that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are living 1000km apart and do not even see eye to eye on topics like having the fifth kid. So, they can patch up now or finalize the divorce. No one can predict which direction their relationship will take.
