About a year back, it was revealed that Aston Martin will release the first DB5 in 50 years. The car became famous when Sean Connery’s James Bond flaunted it with style. Now, the first Aston Martin DB5 has come from the production line and it looks as stunning as people expected it to be.

The things that will attract people to an Aston Martin DB5 is the retro design and the gadgets that were seen in the film so many decades back. The exterior of the car includes a rear bullet shield, a rear simulated oil slick delivery system, a rear smoke screen delivery system, simulated tyre slasher, battering rams in rear and front, revolving number plates in rear and front, and a removable passenger seat roof panel.

The interior of an Aston Martin DB5 will be just as amazing. It will have several retro tech switches, a telephone on the driver side door, a simulated radar screen tracker map, Gear knob actuator button, a weapons or storage tray that can be hidden under the seat, an armrest and centre console-mounted switch gear and even a remote control for gadget activation.

The Aston Martin DB5 will be a limited-edition car as only 25 of these would be released. Also, the cost will be quite high. It will cost £2.75 million or about AUD 5.1 million. The first model would make a debut in UK this week but the rest is still a mystery.

The last time people saw Aston Martin DB5 was between 1963 to 1965. Less than 900 models were introduced at that time.

Talking about the latest Aston Martin DB5’s the CCO of Aston Martin Lagonda, Marek Reichman said “The DB5 is, without question, the most famous car in the world by virtue of its 50-plus year association with James Bond. To see, the first customer car finished, and realize that this is the first new DB5 we have built in more than half a century, really is quite a moment.”
