Finally, the first trailer of Avatar: The Way of Water has been released. It took quite a few years for The Way of Water to develop after the first movie got released in 2009. It did not take long for the first Avatar film to achieve great popularity.

James Cameron is known for surpassing expectations and pushing the filmmaking technological boundaries. So, it is not surprising that his upcoming sequel to Avatar has already gained a huge amount of attention. Overall, Cameron aims to create a unique experience as he gives the audience views of the underwater worlds of Pandora.

While the interest in The Way of Water has been huge, Disney is following unique strategies for trailer releases. The very first footage from Avatar 2 was shown to the attendees of CinemaCon 2022. That was an exclusive event, and while it may have satisfied some fans, many were left craving for a glimpse.

After showing the trailer to the CinemaCon attendees, Disney started playing the trailers in theaters exclusively. For instance, it was attached to Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness screening.

Apparently, Disney follows this strategy to generate interest and hype. Looks like it surely works. Now, the trailer has finally been released on the internet, giving the long-waiting fans a preview of the upcoming Avatar 2.

Without a doubt, the new Avatar: The Way of Water looks like a huge feat in terms of technology. The trailer is highly focused on the exceptional visual effects of the film. But even more than that, Pandora is now going to be more interesting than ever as James Cameron takes audiences underwater.

Instead of packing the trailer with too much action, what we see are serene and peaceful views which highlight the beauty of Pandora. However, viewers can expect a lot of action in the film because hints of threats and dangers have been given in the trailer.

Despite the trailer’s release, not much can be said about the story of Avatar: The Way of Water. The original Avatar movie was said to have a weaker narrative despite its amazing visual effects. However, critics expect that to change with The Way of Water.
