Disney has recently announced that Avengers Campus will open at Disney California Adventure on June 4, 2021. It was supposed to open in July 2020, but the plans were delayed due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic as California started to shut down. Disneyland is also reopening on April 30, 2021.

In addition to announcing the date when Avengers Campus will reopen, Disney has also shared the first look at what will be inside the campus. In addition to Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout that is already open, the new addition will feature Web Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure in which people or visitors will be able to sling webs at the rampaging Spider-Bots. They will be helped by Peter Parker, which is played by Tom Holland.

The release did not include Phase Two Avengers attraction which was announced in 2019. The Avengers Campus will also include an area for Doctor Strange where the demonstration of mystic arts will occur. The new section will also include a wide array of costumed characters like Captain Marvel, Iron Man, Black Panther, Black Widow, Dora Milaje, the Wasp, Ant-Man, Loki, Thor, and Guardians of the Galaxy, among others.

Another attraction of the Avengers Campus will be an acrobatic Spider-Man that will fly above the land. People who like Avenger’s merchandise will not be disappointed as the Avengers Campus will include loads of merchandise via The Web Suppliers store. It will sell interesting products like remote-controlled Spider-Bots and other gear inspired by Peter Parker. The Campus Supply Pod will have a lot of other items that will be as per the Avengers Campus theme. It will also have Pym’s Test Kitchen that includes delicious food options like Impossible™ plant-based meatballs.

Sadly, only California residents will be able to visit Disneyland from April 30 onwards. Even they would need a reservation. The sale of reservations will begin on April 12. The details of reservations for Avengers Campus were not mentioned. As California has tier restrictions till June 15, it is unlikely that many people will be able to visit the Avengers Campus. So, if you are an Avengers fan based in Australia, you might want to just stick to The Falcon and The Winter Soldier for now.
