Bill Gates Predicts When Things Will Be Back to Normal in 2021

Microsoft billionaire Bill Gates has played a key role in helping in the battle against the coronavirus pandemic. He has donated millions of dollars via Gates Foundation to ensure that scientific fight goes on. He recently stated that things would improve in 2021 and highlighted exactly when things would start to get better for the world.
In a blog, GatesNotes, Bill Gates mentioned that by spring next year (that’s autumn here is Australia), we will start seeing the positive results of mass vaccination. He also added that by summer “life will be much closer to normal than it is now.” He mentioned that we need to thank science for a rosier outlook in 2021 after the terrible 2020. Three of the COVID-19 vaccines, Moderna, Pfizer and AstraZeneca have been approved or will soon get approved in many nations, and many others are still in development and will be on the way soon.
Talking about the spirit of cooperation and its role in getting people vaccinated faster, Bill Gates said “Many pharmaceutical companies are seeing the benefit of working together in new ways like this. It’s similar to how, during World War II, the U.S. ramped up its manufacturing capacity at a mind-blowing rate by converting auto factories into tank and truck factories.”
Bill Gates also pointed out that getting people to take the vaccine is a challenge that needs to be tackled. He even acknowledged that conspiracy theories’ including some that involve Melinda [Gates] and me’ can harm the vaccine drive. Sharing why he is funding vaccines, he said it is “because we’re passionate about saving lives and making sure all children have a chance to grow into adulthood.”
Revealing his ideas on global cooperation, Bill Gates said, “Global cooperation is one reason why I see promise in the year ahead—and not only the promise of getting the pandemic under control,” Gates writes. “I believe the world also has a chance to take concrete steps on one of the other great challenges of our time: climate change.”
Previously Bill Gates had repeatedly warned people not to let their guard down, but now it seems his thoughts are taking a more positive direction. Gates, who is in the top few in the list of world’s billionaires, influences many people worldwide, and his words of positivity would surely help people welcome the new year with more positivity.
