El Camino; A Breaing Bad movie – Netflix

Breaking Bad was a popular show that made Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston household names. They even launched a mezcal, Dos Hombres which was liked by their fans. When the series ended in 2013, Breaking Bad fans have been seeking answers to unanswered questions like what’s next for Jesse Pinkman. A sign was recently given out when Netflix released a teaser trailer with Skinny Pete in it but no further details were shown. Another teaser (this time, Jesse’s in it) was shown during the Emmys but also didn’t answer these questions satisfactorily.

Now, finally, Netfix just released the first official trailer of El Camino, a Breaking Bad movie that will be released this October. The trailer picks up where Breaking Bad ended as Jesse Pinkman drove away from the brutal fight between Walter White and drug peddler neo-Nazis that were after him. The movie which is written and directed by Vince Gilligan, Breaking Bad’s creator and the trailer proves that.

In the trailer of the Breaking Bad movie, Pinkman is fleeing the neo-Nazis as well as the law enforcement people. The entire trailer is set to the Reuben and the Dark song “Black Water,” he lyrics of which suit Pinkman perfectly.

The trailer of the Breaking Bad movie also shows Pinkman digging up something. It also shows a few figures standing at a distance which might include Mike Ehrmantraut (played by Jonathan Banks) who confirmed he would be back despite the fact his character was killed in the TV show. Pinkman apparently accepts his fate at the end of the Breaking Bad movie trailer, and we still have no idea what that is.

Though the film is created by the same person, the trailer is darker and sombre than Breaking Bad and has no visible traces of black comedy which made the show so popular earlier. The trailer seems more in line with the final seasons that were darker.
