Cervélo Cycles Unveils the R5 with Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Livery

A nod to the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ that set a blistering 6:44.97 lap time

Cervélo Cycles has just revealed the new Cervélo R5 Automobili Lamborghini Edition, a limited edition street bike that would park perfectly in a garage next to a Lamborghinni Aventador SVJ. The Cevelo R5 special livery is a nod to the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ that set a blistering 6:44.97 lap time around the ‘Ring’s Nordschelife circuit in 2018.

 

“In the same way that the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ raised the performance benchmark in the road vehicle segment, the Cervélo R5 Automobili Lamborghini Edition is created to tackle the steepest uphill and downhill tracks of the Italian Dolomite Alps”, stated by the automaker. “Its essence is inspired by that of the Aventador SVJ: fast from every perspective, but distinguished by easy handling and behavior.”

 

Along with the livery, the R5 includes Italian-made bike components that include a Campagnolo Super Record EPS mechanical assembly, Deda Elementi stem, Fizik Aliante saddle, Campagnolo Bora One wheels and Vittoria Corsa Pro tires. The Cervélo R5 Automobili Lamborghini Edition is limited to 63 units, each with a retail price of $18,000 USD (approx. $25,000 AUD).
