Cobra Kai is one of the most popular TV series on Netflix. So, when Netflix announced the official release date of Season 4. The series will see a return to the All-Valley Karate Championship after the unexpected cancellation of the tournament in the third season.

Netflix announced the news of the new season of Cobra Kai this December via a trailer. The new trailer of Season 4 begins like a sports promo video as it jumps back to show the viewers small footage of the first Karate Kid movie (that inspired the show) where Johnny Lawrence and Daniel LaRusso first faced off on the stage of All Valley Karate Championship.

Season 4 will follow the story of Cobra Kai dojo and will show off what they can do. They are led by Johnny and Daniel both. The soul of the valley is on the line during this season of Cobra Kai. The first episode of Season 4 will be called Let’s Begin and will be written by Josh Heald & Jon Hurwitz & Hayden Schlossberg.

One of the most interesting things about the return of Cobra Kai is the return of Silver. It was announced by Netflix earlier this year. Fans were already sure of Silver’s return in Season 4 as the season finale of the third series had flashbacks that unveiled that John Kreese had saved Silver’s life at a time when they were both prisoners of war in Vietnam. In the finale episode, the fans also saw Kreese calling an old friend while looking at a photo of old army friends that included Silver.

Jon Hurwitz, the creator of Cobra Kai, had teased the return of Silver a few months back when he said, “You could guess who might’ve been on the other end of that call based off of the photo that he was looking at there. But we can’t really speak to how Terry Silver would respond to that call – or whoever was on the other end of the line would respond to that call. I think you’ll have to see if that character returns in season 4.”
