COMME des GARÇONS PLAY x Converse Chuck 70 in Autumn-Ready Colourways

The iconic heart lands on the classic sneakers again

COMME des GARÇONS PLAY has been putting its signature heart branding to Converse‘s classic Chuck 70 sneakers since 2015, and the collaboration is entering a new phase with three autumn-ready COMME des GARÇONS PLAY x Converse Chuck 70’s: Pistachio, Peony and Light Blue. While past CDG Chucks used simple colourways like black, olive or sail, this vibrant series opts for bold and bright pastel tones to play up its decorative details in time for autumn.

This limited-edition Chucks will be available in three colourways in both high-top and low-top canvas options. Prior GARÇONS PLAY x Converse Chucks used everything from massive hearts icons that set into the midsole to a repeating heart pattern or the Japanese label’s signature polka dots , but all six of these GARÇONS PLAY x Converse pairs gets quite simple this time around, placing a conventional Filip Pagowski red heart on the lateral collar for the high-tops and on the midfoot for the low-tops. The medial sides on the high-tops feature the signature circular Converse badge but all GARÇONS PLAY x Converse Chuck 70 pairs boast a sail fabric heel strip, high gloss white rubber toecaps and white midsoles with same colour foxing.
