Conor McGregor Buys a Pub and Bars The Old Man He Attacked
The situation broke out between the two when Keogh refused McGregor’s Proper No. 12 Whiskey
This is not the first time Conor McGregor has hit the headlines. He has developed a reputation for being truly ‘Notorious’ in several ways. Perhaps the most interesting one of his incidents involves a local pub, an old man, and some good old punches.
In 2019, Conor McGregor allegedly assaulted Des Keogh in a local Irish pub. Apparently, the situation broke out between the two when Keogh refused McGregor’s Proper No. 12 Whiskey. The UFC champion did not take the rejection lightly and threw a fit of rage.
He ended up throwing a wild punch at the 50-year-old man from his back before he was thrown out of the bar. The incident was indeed quite shocking and pulled Gregor under the fire. Though, eventually, the 32-year-old champion apologized for his behaviour in the Dublin District Court and had to pay a fine of £860.
Of course, Des Keogh may have already forgotten about the incident. He may not even think about the attacker on any given day. Though, Conor McGregor has not certainly forgotten. It is almost as if the thoughts are still very fresh in his mind.
Based on certain reports, the 32-year-old has now bought the pub for £2 million. And guess what he did next? To everyone’s surprise, he barred the 50-year-old man, Des Keogh from entering the pub every again.
Reports of Conor McGregor buying the Marble Arch pub were circulating for several days. However, several days after the deal, the UFC star confirmed it on Twitter. He simply quoted an article about the deal and wrote “Ye, and your men barred.”
Of course, some fans might argue that it is just satire. Though, it is still very much possible that The Notorious is serious about it.

Note that this is the second pub that he owns. And as it is evident already, one shall never reject a drink at his pub. Though, many people have expressed their disappointment over it.
Under the Conor McGregor tweet, one person wrote, “You truly are the embodiment of the saying “Money can’t buy you, class.”
Though, many of his fans were quite amused too. As for the future, Conor McGregor would avoid getting into another brawl.
In other news, the Oscars 2021 ceremony have been quite entertaining, with some expected and other unexpected wins.
