Regarding this, Manchester United just recently issued a statement saying, “Manchester United is delighted to confirm that the club has reached an agreement with Juventus for the transfer of Cristiano Ronaldo, subject to agreement of personal terms, visa and medical.”

Lately, fans have been speculating what the future of Cristiano Ronaldo would be. At first, some fan theories suggested that Cristiano Ronaldo might be headed to Manchester City. However, events took a dramatic turn when it was confirmed that CR7 will be returning to Manchester United.

When he was asked why Cristiano Ronald could have been headed to Etihad, the manager added, “I didn’t think Cristiano was going to turn out leaving Juventus.” He further stated that the last few days have been full of speculations.

Along with that, Solskjae also briefly stated that “Everyone who has played with him, I think, has a soft spot for him.”
