Donda - The Most-Anticipated Album of Kanye West is Finally Out
Ye’s new album, Donda, released

After many delays, fans had started to wonder if the Donda album is ever going to drop. Eventually, it started feeling like more of an urban legend than an actual music album. But finally, Donda by Ye is here, after lots of listening parties and 401 days after its original release date.

Ye’s Donda released

Well, if you are not surprised by the unexpected release of Donda, you might find it fascinating that the album is almost two hours long. So, Ye fans who have been waiting for the album for over a year finally have something to look forward to.

This also perhaps, justifies the delays in the release. Apparently, Ye was busy working on the album through all the delays and listening parties that we got.

Donda was released after a total of three listening parties by Ye. One of these was hosted in Chicago, which also features a Marylin Manson cameo. The other two were hosted in Atlanta. All three listening parties featured different music and the album was supposed to be out after each party.

However, Donda did not come out until recently. The album has already left the fans incredibly surprised, because well, the album is nothing out of the ordinary. The 12th song in Donda titled ‘Remote Control’ also features audio samples from the famous Globglogabgalab meme.

That is not the only intriguing thing about the album. The entire album is currently up for streaming on Spotify.

Another interesting bit, it also turns out that the album got released without the approval of Kanye West aka Ye.

After 5 hours of its release, Kanye West wrote in a social media post, “Universal put my album out without my approval and they blocked ‘Jail [pt] 2’ from being on the album.”

The track was originally blacked out in the Donda album. However, it is not available after Ye posted about it. Overall, it is a controversial track due to the presence of Marylin Lanson and DaBaby.

In other news, Kanye West has also decided to officially change his name to Ye.
