The latest Fast & Furious 9 trailer has been released, and it gives a glimpse of what fans can expect from the film. The film was to be released in April 2019, but the coronavirus pandemic delayed it, so it will now release in June 2021, with a world premiere scheduled for May 2021 in South Korea.

This film will be the first film in the final trilogy as the Fast Saga will wrap up will Fast and Furious 11. It is clear from the Fast & Furious 9 trailer that it will pit Dominic Toretto against family, especially his brother Jakob, the film’s main antagonist who is backed by Cipher, a cyberterrorist introduced in the Fate of The Furious.

The Fast & Furious 9 trailer also shows that Dom will be supported by his entire crew, especially Han, who was supposedly dead after Tokyo Drift. The trailer also shows a string of action set pieces that will keep you hooked, and Han’s return will deliver a nostalgic hit.

Fans earlier assumed that Mia and Letty might recruit Han back to the Dom crew after seeing some film’s promotional clips. Now, the new Fast & Furious 9 trailer has revealed that it was a part of the team’s plan to go head-to-head with Jakob’s private army which was revealed by Mia. They go to Japan to get some additional backup and end up uniting again with Han.

The Fast & Furious 9 trailer’s final tag scene shows that Roman and Tej are dressed as astronauts and are riding a car that is strapped with rocket boosters. It makes people wonder whether the franchise will go in space.

Talking about unique ideas like the space scene shown in the Fast & Furious 9 trailer, director Justin Lin had previously said, “I think through the years, part of the fun is to come up with crazy ideas to challenge ourselves. But I have to say, we never do it just for sake of shock value. It always takes something from the theme or the character journey. I can say that when I was working on Fast 9, there was a thread that felt very appropriate to take us to places that we’ve never gone to. I drove to Vin’s house, and I sat down with him, and we looked at each other, and we were like, ‘OK… this is the one. This is the one that we’re going to try.’ And it felt very appropriate. So, I kind of can’t wait to share with the world, because the more we push and do crazier stunts and set-pieces, the more we have to check ourselves to make sure we earn that.” Speaking of interesting trailers, have you checked the Army of the Dead trailer yet?
