The Fast & Furious franchise is often associated with fast cars and mad stunts. However, certain stunts performed in the movies have become quite popular. For instance, the skyscraper jumps in the Fast & Furious 7 with a Lycan Hypersport has become one of the most iconic scenes.

 

For those few fans who could afford it, the Lycan Hypersport used in the scene is now up for auction. This Lykan Hypersport was specifically built for the Fast & Furious by W Motors. Now, it is up for bids on Rubix, a popular NFT marketplace.

Now you might think, would an NFT company be doing an auction for the car. Well, the person to win the bid will not only be buying the car but also its NFT (non-fungible token). Indeed, there are a few supercars that beat the Lykan Hypersport.

 

This makes the car a top choice to be featured in the Fast & Furious franchise. While this Lykan Hypersport is built in Europe, it was designed in the Middle East. Featuring a sleek interior with a futuristic look on the exterior, this Lykan Hypersport is no less than any car collector’s dream come true.

It features a twin-turbocharged flat-6 engine that can deliver 108 ft-lb with 780 horsepower. Furthermore, only 10 models of this car were built for the Fast & Furious franchise, despite the limited production. However, only 1 of the models has survived – and it is pretty evident why.

 

At the end of the skyscraper scene, we can see Brian and Dom jumping the Lykan Hypersport out of a tall skyscraper into another, followed by another skyscraper, and eventually out in the open. The scene is, indeed, very memorable.

Of course, it was all a mix of visual effects and some heavy computer work. However, actual models of the Lykan Hypersport were used to give the scene a natural look. And that is what makes the Fast & Furious so successful.
