Ferrari chose to expand its Icona line-up with a third car, and are going to people love it. The Daytona SP3 is the latest model in the series that reinterprets classic Ferrari designs for today’s era. It is influenced by the 330 P3/4, 350 Can-Am, 512 S, and other race cars of the brand. The first two Icona models were Monza SP1 and SP2.

The Daytona was debuted at Mugello Circuit during the 2021 Ferrari Finali Mondiali. What is special about this Ferrari car is that it is the most aerodynamically efficient model ever built by the brand. It has large openings and intakes, which help with the cooling. The butterfly door of the Daytona SP3 also has a huge airbox that channels air to the side-mounted radiators.

The most appealing part of the Daytona SP3 is the rear, where you can see a stack of vertical bars spanning the entire area. Even the taillights are made up of horizontal bars that are placed just below the spoiler. However, they integrate well with the rest of the blades. The Ferrari vehicle also has centrally mounted dual exhaust tips, which poke out high on the aggressive rear diffuser.

The interior of the Daytona SP3 is also appealing and has a wraparound windscreen enclosing the cabin. The seats of this beautiful beast are integrated into the chassis with an adjustable pedal box. This vehicle also comes with Ferrari’s Human-Machine Interface that will allow a driver to keep their hands on the steering wheel and easily control 80 percent of the vehicle’s functions.

The Daytona SP3 also has a revamped (6.5-liter V12) engine that is borrowed from the 812 Competizione. The engine’s weight and inertia were reduced by Ferrari as it adopted titanium connecting rods, a rebalanced crankshaft that’s three percent lighter and has new piston pins with a Diamond-Like Carbon treatment.

The Ferrari Daytona SP3 has an F140HC engine that makes (828 horsepower or 617 kilowatts, and 514 pound-feet or 697 Newton-meters) amazing torque. Yes, it is the most powerful engine Ferrari has ever built. It screams to a 9,500-rpm redline and pairs to a seven-speed gearbox. The Daytona SP3 can reach amazing speeds (62 miles or 100 kilometres per hour in just 2.86 seconds), and it can hit 124 mph or 100 kph in just 7.4 seconds. The pricing and release date are not unveiled yet.
