Leaked images of the Ferrari SUV, the Purosangue, is circulating online.

Referred to as the ‘Purosangue’, the first-ever SUV by Ferrari is due to enter production later in 2022. Just recently, images of this Ferrari SUV got revealed from the Maranello factory floor of the car manufacturer.

Overnight, the images got leaked and appeared on Instagram accounts. In the images, we can see a long-scooped bonnet with sleek headlights and a coupe-style rear. With that, silver alloy wheels and sculpted doors further add to the allure of this Ferrari SUV.

Previously, the Ferrari SUV was also spied on under a black camouflage sheeting. However, this is the very first time the finer details of this SUV have surfaced. For now, the details of this vehicle’s engine are not clear. But based on earlier reports, the Ferrari SUV will feature the non-turbo V12 engine that has become synonymous with many vehicles. That will be coupled with an electrified V8 or V6 base model.

If these details are right, then this Ferrari SUV will be among the top variants since it will be the most powerful petrol-based SUV by any luxury automaker to date. The Purosangue is expected to enter production later in 2022.

However, the first units will arrive in Australia somewhere around 2023. The decision to bring a Ferrari SUV is not recent, though. The automaker has been holding on to it for a while now due to resistance from Sergio Marchionne, the former CEO of Ferrari.

But since the demand for five-door vehicles is increasing significantly, it looks like Ferrari has finally decided to enter the game. Since the markets in the Middle East, Russia, and China are growing exponentially, such vehicles are high in demand there.

Other competitors such as Porsche, Aston Martin, and Lamborghini are already offering high-riding vehicles. And over the last decade, the number of SUVs in the sale have doubled, if we consider their market share.

As compared to history, the Italian luxury automaker received the highest number of orders last year as around 11,155 customers took delivery of Ferrari vehicles. That is an astonishing number because Ferrari vehicles are a luxury taste. The addition of a Ferrari SUV will further increase the hype.
