It has been 74 years since Ferrari is producing luxury vehicles. Now, the marque is ready to launch its first clothing collection too! Just recently on Sunday, the luxury car manufacturer debuted its very first collection in Italy.

The seasonless collection contains styles for both women and men, majorly in the electric blue, Scuderia yellow, and Ferrari red colours. It looks like the luxury car manufacturer is aiming to target the younger people, considering the trendy bomber jackets, parkas, loose trousers, and trench coat designs.

Of course, most of these items also carry the popular Ferrari logo. Throughout the collection, reflective rubberized tape accents can be seen. In that way, this fashion collection reflects the automotive heritage of the company.

Before the release of this fashion collection, loyal consumers of Ferrari did have access to some exclusive merchandise including t-shirts, jackets, and branded polos. Though, these were more or less, exclusives.

However, now the Creative Director at Ferrari, Rocco Lannone wants to target the younger lot, at least through the clothing line. After all, not everybody can afford the high-performance vehicles that Ferrari makes.

According to Rocco Lannone, “The young generations have the power to express the energy and power of a brand.”

One interesting thing about this fashion collection is that 80% of it is genderless. Hence, most of the collection would appeal to both men and women alike. Regarding this, the brand said in a statement, “The empowered stance is what Ferrari fosters through pieces of clothing that ignore barriers of gender. Ferrari chooses a language that is attuned to the new generations. A fluid, impactful one”.

The Ferrari fashion collection would come out in 6 parts throughout the year. Among these, a sneakers partnership with Puma is also underway. Though, some pieces are already available for consumers to buy via the carmaker’s official website.

In other news, the Yeezy Gap jacket by Kanye West has also been the talk of the town, especially after the floating projections on various buildings in different locations.
