Where did Kit Harington go? Last we saw him as Jon Snow in the season-ending HBO series of Game of Thrones walking north of The Wall with the Free Folk Wildings, his punishment for slaying his mad queen lover, Daenerys Targaryen. Rumors from movie pundits say Harington is seen at the grounds of Marvel Cinematic Universe for his next film.

The crystal ball was spot on Harrington was unveiled as a new Marvel Cinematic Universe member, joining the cast of immortal beings in “The Eternals.”

Marvel president Kevin Feige announced the news from the D23 fan convention stage Saturday, with little fanfare over the heavily rumored and hotly anticipated news over the GOT star’s next major project as a member of the Marvel Cinematic Universe roster.

Feige said Harington would play non-Eternal Dane Whitman, aka “The Black Knight,” making for a reunion with GOT alum Richard Madden, who portrays the all-powerful Ikaris.

After Avengers: Endgame wrapped up the storylines of some of Marvel Cinematic Universe most recognizable heroes, new superheroes will have to replace the likes of Iron Man and Captain America as the leaders of Marvel’s super-team. Additionally, the outfit is rumored losing the rights of Spider-Man, the studio will be more eager for recognizable figures to draw existing and fresh supporters into their new era of film, Harrington fits this to a T.

Production has not begun, but the movie is tentatively scheduled to be released on November 2020.
