Ferrari has recently unveiled the limited-edition Ferrari 812 Superfast that seems faster, more powerful, and cleaner than before. The official photos of the vehicle have been unveiled. Read on to know the details.

 

The Ferrari 812 Superfast has the naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12. It was tweaked to redline at 9500 revs and has the ability to crank out 819 horsepower. Earlier, it was 789. It is also Maranello’s most powerful road-going engine.

The better performance of the Ferrari 812 Superfast is also backed by redesigning the mechanical components like improved valve timing mechanism and an enhanced exhaust. Though the speed measurements were not mentioned, it might likely push the 60-mph sprint time into the two-second territory.

 

The Ferrari 812 Superfast also has four-wheel steering that might help in enhancing the precision cornering capabilities and the overall agility. The vehicle also has more carbon fibre pieces reduced on the weight and comes with the latest Side Slip Control dynamics system. It is a new invention by Ferrari.

 

The Ferrari 812 Superfast will represent the ultimate front-engine Berlinetta (sport coupe) that led to different exterior design changes. Some of the key changes are modifications in the rear diffuser, front air intakes, and exhaust configuration. These changes helped in optimizing aerodynamics. The glass rear screen is no longer there. Instead, it has a meaner aluminium structure that is filled with vortex generators.

 

Another key change in the limited-edition 812 Superfast is the addition of a hood-traversing carbon fibre blade, which ensures that the front seems shorter than before. The rear spoiler is also higher. The interior changes are not very drastic at all. Just the door panel has got a redesign, and the H gate theme on the tunnel is added that brings a sportier feel to the car.
