Apple has been getting a lot of attention lately, thanks to its launch of Apple iPhone 12, and it seems that Samsung wants to steal all that glory. As per various leaks, the company might launch its Samsung Galaxy S21 line (or whatever the company names it) in as early as January next year. Here is what we know so far.

Renowned leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer (@OnLeaks) has shared some pictures of Samsung Galaxy 21 and Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra this Sunday. One of the most notable things in the images is the placement of cameras in Samsung Galaxy S21. The phone might have three vertical camera lenses, all of which will be stacked on top of each other. The flash is beside the lenses, and the lenses might even protrude a bit from the device.

Hemmerstoffer believes that Samsung Galaxy S21 might have a selfie camera, an approximately 6.2-inch flat display and might measure 151.7 x 71.2 x 7.9mm (or it can be up to 9.0mm with the unexpected camera bump).

The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra will be sleeker than the usual phone. It might have curved edges and a selfie camera as well. The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra will probably have four camera lenses and will be twice the size of S21’s camera module. As per Hemmerstoffer, the flash might be in the module instead of on the outside and might stick out a bit from the phone itself.

Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra will have a screen measuring anywhere between 6.7 and 6.9-inches. The device might also measure about 165.1 x 75.6 x 8.9mm (or it can be up to 10.8mm with the unexpected camera bump). It might not have a slot for the S-Pen.

The release date of the Samsung Galaxy S21 line is closer than one might think. As per Android Central, the new line could be launched as soon as January 2021. It is remarkably close to the release of other devices that were released earlier by the company Galaxy S20, Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy Z Fold 2 and even closer to the release of Apple 12. It seems that Samsung is becoming more aggressive, and Apple iPhone 12 will have to deal with next-generation smartphone competition sooner than usual.
