Zack Snyder’s Justice League was one of the most anticipated films of the year. Fans have demanded its release for years, and now it has been released. Though the film is not a masterpiece according to some critics, many fans consider it better than the previous film and think it is one of the better DC films. The talk around the film makes people wonder whether Justice League gets a sequel or the films around DCEU are finally done with this release? Let us try to find out.
One of the harsh facts about Zack Snyder’s Justice League is that it would not have existed without the ongoing coronavirus pandemic that probably gave the director time and space to work on the film again. So, the fans have the pandemic to be thankful for.
It must be noted here that Snyder quit the film before because of the tragic death of his daughter, and Joss Whedon took responsibility for the film. Still, the new Justice League is an operatic and sombre affair that reflects the impact and breadth of the events that are on display. However, it feels overblown and bloated at times.
The new film has given weight and depth to character arcs of characters like Ray Fisher’s Cyborg. It has everything from the Amazonian’s island to the underwater world of Atlantis. The film also gave a better backstory for Steppenwolf and his attempts to conquer the earth and gave a glimpse of Darkseid. It also had a flashback of a time thousands of years ago when the heroes of planet earth had defeated the unwanted invaders.
Though most of Whedon’s movie can be seen in Zack Snyder’s version of Justice League, Ben Affleck did not crack sad jokes, and there was no unappealing moment when The Flash leaped on Wonder Woman.

We do not know whether a sequel to Zack Snyder’s Justice League will happen or not, but we know that fans can make it happen. After all, they made Zack Snyder release this film and made the producers release sequels of the films like Jaws, Rocky, and Star Wars. Their demands also led to the upcoming spin-offs to the popular TV series, Game of Thrones.
