Kevin Hart has bought a new 1959 Chevrolet Corvette convertible at the Barrett-Jackson’s Scottsdale sales event. This acquisition cost him USD 825,000 (AUD 1,080,000.00). This information was revealed via a Facebook post by the auction house recently.

The stunning convertible bought by Kevin Hart has an amazing 6.2-liter V-8 that is like what is present in a mid-engine Corvette LT1. The USP of the roadster is the eye-catching exterior that includes four exposed headlamps and a unique grille and chrome detailing that attract from the beginning. An exciting add-on is the attractive new coat of glossy PPG Fanny Green as per the listing of the auction.

The inside of the roadster is also jaw-dropping, thanks to the new leather and upholstery that has been refreshed recently. Some other things that appeal in the interior are a Bluetooth audio system and Dakota Digital gauges. The former is designed to match the Wonder Bar stereo of the original.

The roadster’s makeover is completed by a Chocolate Brown convertible top that is made by using Stayfast material. It also has EVOD one-off wheels that are wrapped in Nitto whitewall tires.

This Corvette of Hart boasts of V-8 that can churn out 460 horsepower and 630Nm of torque that is two times more than 1959 ‘Vette’s base-level mill. It also uses a totally adjustable Art Morrison C7 independent front suspension that is equipped with Strange Coilover shocks. A few other modifications in Kevin Hart’s vehicle are power rack and pinion steering, a powder-coated frame, a GM wiring harness, Willwood brakes, and factory programmed computer.

In the last few months, this is the second classic restomod bought by Kevin Hart. The previous was a 1970 Dodge Hellraiser that was commissioned in February by the comedian. It seems the comedian is spending a lot on roadsters that appeal to gearheads. Another thing that has appealed to gearheads was the interior of the latest 2021 Mercedes-Benz EQS. It had some cool elements like a huge Hyperscreen known as an MBUX Hyperscreen.
