For its forthcoming streaming service, Disney is engaging world’s most prominent heroes—namely, Loki and Scarlet Witch. The company has decided to launch a limited Marvel TV series enlisting legendary actors from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), an American media franchise that is centered on a series of superhero films. The news has already got fans fired up due to leading roles of their favorite heroes.

Disney and Marvel did not comment on this news. However, there is an important difference from other Marvel tv series’ small screen endeavors. The same stars are expected to play in the streaming shows who portrayed these actors and villains in Avengers films and their unexpected but valuable results, such as Elizabeth Olsen and Tom Hiddleston. In addition, it is expected that the company will spend a sheer scale of currency to compete for its rival studio productions.

According to a report from Variety, “each series is expected to incorporate 6-8 episodes. Kevin Feige, the mastermind of MCU, will play a crucial role in the development of these shows and Marvel Studios will produce them.”

Various companies with the same going concepts like Amazon and Netflix continue to grow their user base. Therefore, Disney is trying its level best to develop a stronghold in this television streaming revolution. Disney keeps most of the information related to the service confidential, other than that the cost of that service will be lesser than Netflix and the company will introduce it in 2019.

Moreover, Disney studio is trying to put maximum content on the platform by unwinding its licensing deals. Doing so results in the company forfeiting the billions of dollars in profit. In addition to this service, Disney has also announced some other high-profile action series that include a “Star Wars”, which is overseen by the Jon Favreau, a director of “The Jungle Book.” These plans will be seen in the near future together with the upcoming “Captain Marvel” and “Dumbo” Disney films.

According to the sources , these action series have hefty budgets. Reportedly, the cost of the Star Wars series is $100 million. In the film industry, the budget has a large impact on the fans and local consumers. Therefore, companies supersede one another in terms of their budgets on different productions and enhance their subscriber’s lists. Nowadays, Netflix is the main rival of the Disney and holds 125 million subscribers across the globe. Netflix currently enlisting prominent talents on its platform by offering them massive deals. These top talents encompass Shonda Rhimes (“Grey’s Anatomy”), Kenya Barris (“Black-ish”), and Ryan Murphy (“American Horror Story”).

The Marvel TV series are in the development process so far and even the writers have not been attached to projects. Disney and Marvel TV Studios are active with the shows that incorporate Netflix’s “Daredevil,” and ABC’s “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D,” but close sources reveal that these shows will stay under Marvel heroes tv series banner.

Insiders also state that the Avengers that have gotten their own movies like Captain America and Iron Man will not feature in the series with the studios concentrating on actors who have been served as the second-tier actors in the MCU. Will we also see the World’s highest paid actress on these series?

Variety concludes “the Avengers shows could be the most ambitious project of the streaming service both in terms of their budget and scope. More importantly, it will give the service something that will engage comic book fans and presents the type of content Netflix will love to get its hands on.”
