Louis Vuitton rarely ever follows the regular formula when making accessories. The house just unveiled a pizza box carrier made of leather. However, it is certainly not designed to carry pizza. Just like some other items from LV such as the aeroplane bag and the Horizon Light Up Speakers, this one too boasts an unconventional design.

The Louis Vuitton pizza box is not meant to hold a pizza. Instead, it is named so due to its shape. Other than that, this accessory is not made with cardboard. Instead, it features a cowhide canvas and leather straps with a gold snap button.

The inside of the pizza box features a leather surface that is scratch-free and smooth enough. However, the most interesting aspect is that Louis Vuitton has not included an attachment or handle that one can use to hold it.

However, the shape of this accessory is quite sleek. This makes it quite grippy. Hence, it is easy to tuck it inside a regular Louis Vuitton bag or to just hold it as it is. Measuring 36 x 36 x 5 cm, this pizza box can securely hold music disks and vinyl records.

The Louis Vuitton Pizza Box is intended to have a rather low-fie design. Featuring a geometric silhouette, the design is intended for people who prefer to carry on the LV legacy. Costing around AU$2,730, one might believe that this item would not sell fast. However, LV loyalists will disagree.

Social media was run down with comments as soon as the pizza box got featured. For instance, some Facebook users suggested that they will rather use their $50 flight cases to hold their vinyl records. Others stated that it is totally outrageous to pay that amount for a box that holds vinyl records.

For now, the fashion house has not made the pizza box available for ordering on the website, though. It would be available for purchase via the brand’s official boutiques though.

In other news, Facebook will be launching smart Ray-Ban glasses that will bring humanity closer to augmented reality unlike ever before. Though, an exact release date has not been given yet.
