Mark Wahlberg Seeks $87 Million for the 6.14 Acre Beverly Park Mega-Mansion

Beverly Park is one of the most preferred gated communities in Los Angeles, and the demand for properties there is always high. Mark Wahlberg is hoping to make the most of the popularity of this neighbourhood by selling his Beverly Park mega-mansion and is asking $87 million for the same.

The megamansion owned by Mark Wahlberg is spread across 6.14 acres of space. It was custom built by Mark and his long-time wife, Rhea Durham. Richard Landry designed it, and the work was completed in 2014. Looking at the design of the megamansion, one can safely say that Europe’s largest chateaus influenced it.

The estate owned by Mark Wahlberg includes a giant main house, poolside cabana, a viewing pavilion beside a full-size sports court, and a separate guesthouse. It also has a formal motor court wrapping around a grassy island that is decorated with a tall fountain. The two-story foyer of the mega-mansion that features an elaborate double staircase is also stunning.

The limestone floors and hallways of the mega-mansion lead to a formal living room that’s adorned with two fireplaces and six sets of French doors. It also has ab impressive wood-panelled library that is two stories tall and has a marble fireplace.

The mega-mansion also has a sunlight-filled breakfast room that overlooks the estate grounds. There’s also a family room and a kitchen with two marble-topped islands. The property owned by Wahlberg also has a magnificent master bedroom with deep brown hardwood floors, a sitting area, a private balcony, dual bathrooms, and closets.

Other amenities of Wahlberg’s property include a wine cellar with tasting room, a movie theatre that can accommodate over 15 guests, a glass-walled gym, many wet bars, several mature trees, an outdoor kitchen, vast lawns, an outdoor skate park, golf greens, and a grotto-style pool with waterfalls and formal gardens.

One drawback of the Wahlberg-owned mega-mansion is that it doesn’t have a view of city lights. But the other features more than make up for it. It would be interesting to see whether it is sold for such a high price or not. We’ll keep you posted!
