Previously, fans have already had a sneak peek at the first official poster of the Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings movie. But now, on Simu Liu’s birthday, Marvel Studios has released an action-packed teaser of the movie.

One reason why the fans are particularly excited about this movie is that it may be the beginning of a whole new franchise. In terms of the visuals, the trailer gives off the same vibes as Black Panther. Overall, this movie will offer a fresh Marvel experience to fans. After all, it is not a prequel or sequel to an existing movie.

Another exciting fact about the Shang-Chi movie is that the cinematography is done by the one and only, Bill Pope. He is known for his involvement in blockbusters like The Matrix. Furthermore, the movie trailer also shows some top-notch fight scenes that can get anyone’s adrenaline rushing.

Apart from the main star, the Shang-Chi movie also stars Fala hen, Florian Munteanu, Michelle Yeoh, Awkwafina, Ronny Chieng, and Meng’er Zhang. This movie is expected to hit the theatres on the 2nd of September 2021 (if the COVID-19 situation remains stable).

The movie almost has an all-Asian cast. This highly anticipated movie is being directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, who has proven his metal in movies such as Just Mercy, The Glass Castle, and Short Term. Expectedly, this indie movie director is going to do wonders with the Shang-Chi movie.

Another interesting fact about the Shang-Chi movie is that it was filmed in Sydney. Since Australia has been offering very lucrative incentives in taxes for locally produced movies, Kevin Fiege is reportedly considering relocating Marvel’s operations to Australia.

Thor: Love and Thunder starring Chris Hemsworth was another notable superhero entry that was filmed in Australia.

Nevertheless, while the trailer of the Shang-Chi movie looks good, some fans are still holding their horses until the film finally arrives. After all, after so much hype, one simply cannot take a disappointment. Guess we’d find that out after September 2nd.  In other news, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Episode 5 have been recently released and preps Marvel fans for the final episode.
