Ahead of its release in June 2022, Marvel has already released a new trailer for Ms. Marvel. It looks like this project is unlike any that the MCU has given us previously. Confirmations regarding a Disney+ show about Kamala Khan have already arrived.

Kamala Khan, who is a Pakistani-American teenager, has become a favorite of many Marvel fans after her 2013 comic debut. The success of the character is evident from the fact that in less than a decade, Marvel has decided to bring the character to life on the big screen.

Newcomer Iman Vellani will be playing the lead role of Ms. Marvel in the series. This also means that she will appear in more projects by the MCU here on. It was also surprising for Marvel to reveal the first look of the new superhero in 2020. This confirmed a solo show that revolves around Kamala Khan.

According to previous reports, the Ms. Marvel show is set to release any time in 2022. The comics originally introduced Kamala Khan as inhuman. However, the nature and origin of Kamala Khan might be changed in the MCU.

After much wait, a proper look at the series is available for the fans in the form of the first official trailer. Overall, this project seems to be quite unique. This trailer has also confirmed that the show will begin on Disney+ from 8th June 2022.

Marvel Studios’ Ms. Marvel

In comparison with the previous recent projects by MCU and Marvel’s series on Disney+, this new series seems to take a new approach. Loki was more of a mystery thriller, while Hawkeye was like a Christmas comedy. Similarly, WandaVision had a lot of variety to it.

Now, Ms. Marvel gets into the teenage angst as we will get to experience a coming-of-age story of Kamala Khan, as she becomes a superhero. The trailer also shows 2D animations of sound accents and word bubbles. However, there are no confirmations whether these animations will be shown in the series. They could only be a part of the trailer.

The trailer also emphasizes the Muslim roots and Pakistani heritage of Ms. Marvel, which Marvel is staying true to with this live-action series.
