Data from Pornhub has again revealed how we spent our time behind closed doors. As expected, the data revealed by the company in Year in Review is enlightening and entertaining. Read on to know what it revealed about global and Australian porn lovers.
The Year in Review opens by stating, “The Insights team and Pornhub statisticians sift through data from billions of visits to see what content defined the year. Those that follow this blog know that Pornhub’s top searches are often influenced by pop culture and other worldwide events. Many of these terms define 2021 not just on Pornhub but in mainstream media as well… For 2021, our top defining term is hentai.”
The Year in Review report clarifies that Australians also did a fair share of streaming in 2021. Australia ranked 12th for the most traffic contributed and logged an average viewing time of nine minutes and 32 seconds. It is down by 29 seconds from last year.

According to Pornhub, the trending searches from Australia included “milf amateur” (+434%), “big tits big ass” (+429%), and “squirting” (+410%). Australian visitors were +136% more likely to hit up the “scissoring” category than the rest of the world. Australians were also +81% more into the Popular with Women videos and +102% more into Asian videos.
Pornhub also reported that the US gained the top spot as the nation watching the most porn videos. The UK, Japan, and France followed it. The most favourite time to visit Pornhub across the globe was 11 PM, and the least popular was 5 AM, according to the Year in Review.
