A sports betting website is listing the Godzilla vs Kong fight
The long-awaited clash of the Titans, Godzilla vs Kong, is about to happen. Next month, the film will be available in theatres and on HBO Max. The upcoming fight is so legendary that punters in the states are betting on it. As per the latest updates, it seems that Kong’s betting odds are stronger than Godzilla and people expect the latter to lose.
Bovada, a sports betting website that is listing the Godzilla vs Kong fight, says that Kong is the favourite of fans at -220 while Godzilla is at +155. The fight will decide who becomes the new king of monsters. The fight might see the ruler of Skull Island beating Godzilla in a one-on-one fight.
According to rumours among fans, the fight between Godzilla vs Kong might be interrupted by Mechagodzilla, a mechanical doppelganger. It is not confirmed whether the film will include more of kaiju or not. But it is confirmed from the Godzilla vs Kong trailer that Kong will take on some of the most deadly and giant monsters from Skull Island.
Godzilla vs Kong is the final movie in the Monster-Verse by Legendary Pictures that is three movies strong till now. When a winner between these two monsters in announced, then humanity will be able to take a deep breath as it will put an end to the battle. This will not be the last you see of Godzilla as Netflix is already working on two anime series Skull Island and Godzilla: Singular Point. It is likely that kaijus’ future will also be secure as fans love to see that.
The official synopsis of Legendary Pictures for Godzilla vs Kong reads, “In a time when monsters walk the Earth, humanity’s fight for its future sets Godzilla and Kong on a collision course that will see the two most powerful forces of nature on the planet collide in a spectacular battle for the ages. As Monarch embarks on a perilous mission into uncharted terrain and unearths clues to the Titans’ origins, a human conspiracy threatens to wipe the creatures, both good and bad, from the face of the earth forever.”
