Over the weekend, the most-awaited release of the year so far, the Dior x Air Jordan 1 High was at the front and center of two major leaks: one revealing just how many Highs will be available, and another one regarding a possible raffle system as a release method.

Over the weekend however, Jean Carlos, aka @solebyjc, a renowned “sample specialist”, revealed on his Instagram story that a new look inside the already-coveted shoe, one that showed a lot number patch that read “2058/8500,” hinting that there will be just 8,500 pairs of the Dior x Air Jordan 1 High. Online sources confirmed this rumour to be true. As for the Dior x Air Jordan 1 Low, there’s no word yet on how many will be available on release.

What’s more is that a leaked image online of the Dior x Air Jordan 1 High, hints how the release may be done. The photo shows that a possible raffle system may be used to distribute the Dior x Air Jordan 1 High, which will run from March 23 to 24, with results being announced to the winners via email on March 26. It then lists out a staggered release across nine different retail locations around the world, although the map contained in the leak also shows that the shoe’s APAC release will be limited to Korea, China and Japan, making a release here in Australia unlikely.
