Well, if you have had doubts about electric hypercars, the new Rimac Nevera will change that. The car manufacturer from Croatia just revealed an all-electric version of the Nevera. Surprisingly enough, it is more powerful than a supercar with a V-12.

The Rimac Nevera features a powerful 120lkWh battery along with 4 magnet motors per wheel. These combined with the single-speed gearbox deliver a torque of 1740 ft-lbs. along with 1914 horsepower. If you compare these metrics with a traditional supercar, the Nevera maybe three times more powerful.

Named after a Mediterranean storm, the Rimac Nevera can reach 62 mph in just 1.97 seconds. Furthermore, it will reach a speed of 100 mph in only 4.3 seconds. And to reach 186 mph, the car will take roughly 11.6 seconds.

At its top speed of 250 mph, the Rimac Nevera can cover a quarter of a mile in just 8.6 seconds, which is kind of record-breaking for an electric vehicle. If these figures are true, the Rimac Nevera would undoubtedly be among the fastest production vehicles.

However, the carmaker mentions that these figures were measured on a surface with high friction. So, you may not get the exact numbers on the track. However, the performance would be close.

Regarding the range, the Rimac Nevera can cover 340 miles on one charge. However, charging is quite fast. For instance, the battery can fill up from 0 to 80% in only 19 minutes through a DC fast charger. However, the brand has not revealed the time that it would take for the Rimac Nevera to charge via a regular charger.

Another interesting feature of the Rimac Nevera is the weight. This car features a carbon fiber construction and weighs just around 440 pounds. That is a part of the reason why this car can reach unimaginable speeds.

The regenerative brake system features 6-piston calipers, a pedal feel simulator, and an electro-hydraulic booster that allow the car to come to a quick stop.
