Salt Bae: People are Shocked by a Receipt from One of His Restaurants
Salt Bae opens a new restaurant in London.

If you love food, you must have heard of Nusret Gökçe, aka Salt Bae, who got recognition after an online viral video where people loved his stylish seasoning methods. The Turkish chef has just increased his Nusr-Et Steakhouse chain and has opened a new restaurant in Knightsbridge in London. The pricing of the items on the menu has got social media buzzing as just a steak here costs £630 (AU$ 1182).

The new restaurant of Salt Bae has got some celeb attention too. Mark Byron, a UK Big Brother contestant, tweeted this last week- “Finally lights on inside Nusr Et London!!! “I know the whole of the UK is excited for these doors to open.” With this new addition, Salt Bae now has 15 restaurants worldwide.

Twitter users reacted interestingly to the prices at the new restaurant of Salt Bae. One user, Omnimojo, tweeted: “It’s cheaper to fly and have food at Salt Bae’s Turkish restaurant than to go to the London one. Another user, @JW_Burton, tweeted: “£18 for a double vodka.” Similarly

@MishyKay___ tweeted: “Nusr Et for my birthday? Now that sounds like an expensive plan!
