Samuel L. Jackson is set to reprise his role as Nick Fury in an upcoming Marvel series in development for Disney+ focusing on the MCU character. Although no official announcement has been made, details are quite scarce. Sources say that Jackson is attached to star in his character’s own series with Kyle Bradstreet is supposed to be set to write and executive produce. Other Nick Fury series plot details are being kept quiet and reps for Disney and Samuel L. Jackson have yet to confirm the Marvel Studios-produced series.

The Disney+ show is most likely being kept quiet until several other confirmed Marvel shows debut on Disney’s streaming platform, including WandaVision, which is slated to arrive on Disney+ later this year. After that, The Falcon and Winter Soldier is next to debut, and then Loki, She-Hulk, and Ms. Marvel are soon to follow. The Hawkeye and Moon Knight  sbows have also been approved, so this supposed Nick Fury show is still far down the pipeline and no one knows when it will arrive.

Samuel L. Jackson first portrayed Nick Fury in the post-credits scene of the first Iron Man film from 2008. Ever since, he has been a crucial MCU character and has sporadically shown in several other Marvel films and shows, including Spider-Man: Far from Home, Captain Marvel and Avengers: Endgame. Fury was also seen in two episodes of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
