SP Automotive has officially revealed its first ultra-car, Chaos that has an extreme build. Powered by a twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre V10 engine, the car boasts 2237kW and has a yet-to-be-disclosed hybrid power form. The car will go from 0-100km/h speed in 1.8 seconds, and the top speed is as high as 499km/h.

The cost of Chaos is something you will be surprised at. The ultra-car from Spyros Panopoulos Automotive will cost you AU$19 million. For people who think the price is too high, the company has launched a base model that has a 1491kW detuned V10 engine and no hybrid power worth AU$ 8.6 million.

Both the engines of Chaos are paired to a dual-clutch transmission. The all-wheel-drive is standard as well. The ultra-car by SP Automotive also has two huge rotors. The 428mm brake discs are at the front, while 416 discs are at the rear. They are hidden behind 22-inch wheels.

SP Automotive is planning to get every speed record that exists. It will try to dethrone Porsche 911 GT2 RS’s Nurburgring Time and the SSC Tuatara’s 286.1-mph (460.4km/h) top speed run. It might also go for Rimac Nevera’s 8.58-second quarter-mile record with Chaos.

About 15 to 20 cars will be built by SP Automotive every year. The production of Chaos is slow as it is built by hand, but the production can be increased to 100 units a year if needed. The first few productions of Chaos are expected to be on the road next year.

If SP Automotive aimed to create a buzz about Chaos, then it has accomplished its goal/ People are talking about it. However, some people question the validity of the unbelievable specs and performance claims of the car. Some are even questioning the existence of the project as well. It is hard to believe that the ultra-car will be able to perform as expected as the company has only introduced itself to the world through CGIs and error-ridden English postings. If it meets the expectations, it will change the world of cars forever while also being one of the most expensive cars ever!
