New Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer released.

Spider-Man: No Way Home is one of the most anticipated films of the year. The plot will pick up the story from 2019’s Spider-Man: Far from Home, and Spidey will be framed for the murder of Mysterio. Everyone will also know his identity, and he will not be comfortable with it. He will seek the help of Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange to make people forget that he is a hero, which will start the multiverse madness. All this has been shown in a previous trailer.

Though the plot of Spider-Man: No Way Home has always been pretty clear, the inclusion of some past heroes and villains has made people curious about the film. Molina’s Doc Ock and Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin’s presence was hinted at in a previous trailer. Now, the latest trailer has unveiled the identity of five villains. In addition to Doc Ock and Green Goblin, it shows Electro, Sandman, and Lizard.

Speculations were high that Spider-Man: No Way Home will include previous Spider-Man stars, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield. But the latest trailer has failed to confirm their presence. Sony and Tom Holland (the current Spider-Man) have refuted all reports of Maguire and Garfield appearing in the latest solo Spider-Man film.

The trailer also shows Spider-Man’s best friend, Ned Leeds, his aunt May, Friend Happy Hogan, and his girlfriend MJ will all be back. The trailer also teased that there will be tension between Peter and Doctor Strange about managing all the antagonists from the multiverse.

The exclusion of Maguire and Garfield from the trailer does not necessarily mean that they will not appear in the film. They will likely appear to give Holland a hand with the five villains that they had been up against in the past. He will need their help because it seems that Holland’s Peter Parker and Doctor Strange are at outs.

Spider-Man; No Way Home is set to release globally next month, including in Australia. Another trailer for the film will show before the release. Will Maguire and Garfield be there?  If not, the Marvel fans  would need to see the crossover when it swings in the theatres.
