Stevie Wonder has just dropped about US$14 million (AU$19.5 million) for a Saudi Prince’s Giant Bel-Air mansion that offers views over the shadowy canyons and rugged surrounding mountains. Located in Bel Air Crest, an exclusive guard-gated community, the Mediterranean-style mansion is near to properties owned by Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds, NBA star Anthony Davis, and Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.

His fans would know Stevie Wonder is a fan of the Bel Air Crest community. He already has leased a huge mansion in the same enclave. It’s next door to the L.A. residence of one Gordon Ramsay. Ramsay has even shared that Bracy- Wonders frequently stop by to sample their neighbour’s cooking.

The new property bought by Wonder is further away from Ramsay’s house. Still, the 20,000 square feet of living space is within walking distance of the British chef’s house. The new mansion has 11 bedrooms, 15 bathrooms, a 2.550-bottle wine cellar, and attached staff quarters.

This fantastic place now owned by Wonder was built in 2009 and stands tall behind iron gates. It has a front-facing three-car garage and ample driveway space for a few other vehicles. The double front doors of the mansion open into an impressive foyer which is about three stories tall and is topped by skylights that give ethereal vibes.

The mansion also has limestone flooring that extends to several lounge areas and sitting rooms. One of the most interesting features of the living room is a mahogany wet bar. The property also has a formal dining room with a seating arrangement for 12 people and two stunning chandeliers.

The library or executive office of the property is beige, and it has built-in bookcases and wood panelling. Its family room has a large fireplace. The oversized kitchen of the property is ideal for large events and has an island with beige granite countertops and high-quality stainless appliances.

Several terraces and loggias of this mansion offer ample shady space for lounging and dining. The interiors are wood-panelled and offer a museum-like appearance. To make roaming in the property easier for the Wonder family, there are gilt-trimmed elevator services that cater to all of the three levels of the home.
