Stranger Things Season 4 Trailer Reveals Upside Down’s Big Bad

The official Stranger Things season 4 trailer reveals the epic return of the fan-favorite sci-fi horror series.

Netflix has unveiled a new trailer for the final season of Stranger Things. Season 4 would be the last time fans will get to enjoy the popular sci-fi series. It shows a scary upside-down villain that will challenge Eleven and her gang.

Created by Duffer Brothers, Stranger Things is set in a fictional town called Hawkins, Indiana in the 1980’s. It centres on Mike Wheeler, Eleven and their friends who uncover a supernatural conspiracy. In addition to Finn Wolfhard and Millie Bobby Brown, the cast includes Winona Ryder, Gaten Matarazzo, David Harbour, Natalia Dyer, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Charlie Heaton, Sadie Sink, Cara Buono, Joe Keery, and Maya Hawke.

Season 4 will pick up six months after the events of Season 3 which ended in Battle of Starcourt where Billy sacrificed himself to save the gang and even Hopper was killed (not really) when he attempted to close the gate to the Upside Down. In Season 4, the friends will be split up across the country as their families have moved away from Hawkins to escape the terrors they faced in Hawkins.

According to the trailer, a new threat will surface. So, Season 4 will revolve around how the gang will band together to put an end to upside down for the last time. During their attempts, they will also face a scarier upside-down villain who has ever appeared in Stranger Things. In addition to attempting to defeat the villain, Season 4 will also see the gang face the perils of high school.

The final season of Stranger Things has been postponed a lot due to the COVID-19 pandemic. So, a trailer offering many minute details while keeping the core under wraps is something the fans would like. The trailer is also full of action and will surely get hearts racing.

The first episodes of the final season of Stranger Things will be released on May 27 while the second half of Season 4 will be released on July 1. Fans have plenty of time to decipher all the hints dropped during the trailer.
