A new movie trailer for The Suicide Squad just got revealed. Written by Gunn, the movie is a remake of the original Suicide Squad by David Ayer, which was released in 2016. The new Suicide Squad 2 trailer gives further gives hints and insights into the movie.

As we already know, Margot Robbie will be returning as Harley Quinn. Alongside her, we will see Viola Davis who plays the role of Amanda Waller. Some new entries to the cast include John Cena’s Peacemaker, Idris Elba’s Bloodsport, and Sylvester Stallone who will be voicing King Shark .Furthermore, Joel Kinnaman joins as Rick Flag. Jai Courtney’s Captain Boomerang is also worth a mention. Other than these notable actors, some more will also be joining the squad.

As the earlier Suicide Squad2 trailer showed, there are plenty of characters in the film. So, it is natural for one to assume that many would not survive throughout the film. Even the director and writer of the film, Gunn, has suggested viewers not get too attached to the characters.

In the new Suicide Squad 2 trailer, we see Bloodsport siding with Amanda Waller, who pulls him in by the leverage of his daughter’s court case. However, many insights have not been given about this.

We also hear Waller say that the mission is “more important than you could possibly imagine.” She further adds that destroying every trace. It has something to do with Project Starfish. From what we see in the new Suicide Squad 2 trailer, the goal of the team is to destroy Starro.

Overall, the new Suicide Squad 2 trailer (and the old one) teases humorous scenes mixed with action-packed sequences. So, fans know what to expect. While everyone may not find some bits relatable, fans who have been following DC comics are in for a ride.

One can say that the new trailer has further heightened the expectations. Though some fans argue that the hype for the original film was no less, yet the movie turned out to be rather underwhelming.
