The Force is Quite Strong in these adidas UltraBOOST Yoda Sneakers

Loaded up with special details that celebrates the great Jedi Master

Star Wars and adidas are continuing their collaboration on The Empire Strikes Back‘s 40th anniversary pack with the new adidas UltraBOOST Yoda. Joining special designs for the other major characters of Star Wars — Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Princess Leia, Boba Fett, C-3PO and Lando Calrissian — the UltraBOOST design of the wise, riddle-tongued Yoda is dressed in a color scheme and loaded up with special details that celebrates the great Jedi Master.

Flexible Primeknit uppers are designed in a flecked mixture of olive and white, while the sneaker structure features olive leather midfoot cages and heel clips — both trimmed with bright neon green. If you have a look closer look at the UltraBOOST Yoda sneaker design, you’ll notice that the leather features a cracked print that shows more neon green. adidas’ iconic Three Stripe graphics are done in black, and lateral sides feature a debossed, reversed “BOOST Ultra” branding, honouring Yoda’s habit of speaking backwards.

The sneaker tongues of this Star Wars UltraBOOST Yoda feature an image of Yoda with his lightsaber, with heels showing two different but complementing prints, an extended lightsaber on the left and a block letter that reads “Yoda” on the right. The co-branded insoles feature a printed Yoda still from Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, with the quote “difficult to see, always in motion is the future”. The olive midsoles and black Continental rubber outsoles complete the look.
