Ford v Ferrari Trailer will Definitely Exhilarate the Movie Buffs
Ford v Ferrari – 20th Century Fox – Walt Disney Studios

Ford v Ferrari is one of the most anticipated films because it’s from a top filmmaker, amazing actors and has been in the works for years. The film was premiered at TIFF, and its intriguing trailers have left fans wanting more. The film will be released about a month after Joker movie and is worth your attention, here’s why.

Ford v Ferrari is made by 20th Century Fox (through Walt Disney Studios), which is also associated with other big projects like Bohemian Rhapsody and The King’s Man. Popular filmmaker James Mangold is putting his heart and soul into the film and it has stars like Matt Damon and Christian Bale among others.

The film, Ford v Ferrari is set against the backdrop of the popular 24 Hours of Le Mans race in France in 1966 when cars like Ford GT MK II didn’t even exist, and Ford sought the help of American car designer Carroll Shelby (played by Matt Damon). He was given the responsibility of building a revolutionary car that will allow Ford to challenge Ferrari. Bale will play the character of fearless British racer Ken Miles who supported Ford’s initiative.

Most people would know that Ford v Ferrari is based on true events as Henry Ford II and Lee Iacocca dispatched Miles and Shelby to create the iconic vehicle. A film on the subject was initially planned in 2013, and Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise were to star in it for director Joseph Kosinski, but things didn’t work out.

The latest trailer of Ford v Ferrari is using “Highway Tune” Greta Van Fleet as a soundtrack while the first trailer used the Rolling Stones’ “Gimme Shelter”. The film was among the line-up at TIFF and impressed the audience. Movie pundits even label it as Oscar worthy!

The latest trailer shows the fast pace of the film brilliantly and the fast pace is what keeps people glued throughout the two-hour runtime of the film. The star cast also includes Jon Bernthal as Lee Iacocca, Caitriona Balfe as Miles’ wife Mollie and Tracy Letts as Henry Ford II.

Ford v Ferrari will hit the Australian theatres sometime this November. So, we don’t have to wait for long!
