The Google Pixel 6 is Officially Arriving on October 19th

It has been months since we have been waiting for an official date for the Pixel 6 release. Finally, Google has revealed that the new Pixel 6 will be arriving on October 19, 2021. The news was officially announced by the @MadeByGoogle Twitter account.

Google also set up a landing page for the launch event. However, the event launch will be a live stream pre-recorded. The event will be available to watch globally, with the Pixel 6 Pro and Pixel 6 to be the highlights of the event.

Not too long ago, we got the first look at the new Tensor chip by Google. Earlier in summer, previews of the chip were rolled out to different news organizations. Apparently, Google is now focusing on the capabilities of machine learning and AI.

So, between the announcements of the new Pixel 6 design and the SoC, the company will also be giving us updates on machine learning and AI. Furthermore, we shall also learn the way these technologies will shape up the new flagship phones by Google.

Based on the current rumours, the Pixel 6 phones will start at $1,028, featuring 128 GB storage, a 6.4 inches AMOLED display, and rear cameras. However, this would be the base model of the Pixel 6.

Other than that, a pro version of the Pixel 6 will also come out starting at $1439, featuring 12 GB RAM, 6.7 inches AMOLED display, three rear cameras, and 128 GB of storage. The rear cameras on this Pixel 6 model will come with 4x optical zoom.

Furthermore, we shall also get a glimpse of some other Nest devices, such as new speakers. Perhaps, we might also get updates of the foldable Pixel by Google, which has been rumoured for a while now.

Just recently, Google revealed the Android 12. However, no updates were given about the Pixel 6 devices. So, it is quite likely that Google will dedicate a good amount of time to the Pixel devices in the coming event, including its features. However, the exact details of the Pixel 6 launch are not known yet.
