The Mandalorian Teased A New Star Wars Series, ‘The Book of Boba Fett’

The show was revealed in the post-credits scene of ‘The Mandalorian’

Fans of The Mandalorian were given an unexpected bonus in the season 2 finale, as the show’s post-credits scene teased a new Star Wars series that could arrive on Disney+ in December 2021.

 

A Star Wars series, The Book of Boba Fett had been widely rumored, but it was not included among the new line-up of shows featured during the Disney Investor Day, leading to speculation that it would not be created. But the bonus footage in The Mandalorian finale – which teased an unexpected confrontation between Boba Fett and Bib Fortuna – clarified that the show would be coming.

However, some reports have been speculating that The Book of Boba Fett may could refer to the third season of The Mandalorian, as opposed to a stand-alone Disney+ series. Disney has yet to confirm this rumour either way whether that is the case.

 

Currently, The Mandalorian is one of Disney’s most successful Star Wars spin-offs, generating exceptionally good reviews from all or most critics

 and accumulating nominations in differnet categories during the 2020 Emmy Awards. As Disney+’s flagship original show, The Mandalorian’s third season — in whatever storyline it will take — has already been confirmed.
