The Mighty Suzuki Hayabusa is Getting Revamped In 2022
The new Suzuki Hayabusa is priced at $27,690 AUD ride away
Even those who are new to the world of motorcycles will recognize the mighty Suzuki Hayabusa. This bike is synonymous with great power and great speeds. In fact, in Japanese, its name translates to “peregrine falcon” – a fast flying bird.
The first Suzuki Hayabusa made its appearance in 1999 and was titled as the ‘fastest bike’ in production. It is quite surprising that over the last two decades, the bike only receives updates twice. First, the Hayabusa was updated in 2008, and now it will get updated again in 2022. This new model of Suzuki Hayabusa will have plenty of new upgrades and features. Particularly, it will carry a 1340 cc engine with 9750 rpm, capable of generating a 187 hp power.
Some fans of the Suzuki Hayabusa are pointing out that these numbers are less than what the previous model offers (194 hp power with a torque of 155Nm). But considering the new Euro 5 emissions regulations it is not surprising that the new model tones down the power a little. Still, 187 hp is quite impressive.
Though, some numbers have certainly increased in comparison to the previous model. For instance, the new Suzuki Hayabusa weighs 264 kg – slightly more than its predecessor.
The new model of the bike has a much sturdier design with a stronger motor. Along with that, the steering angle in the new Suzuki Hayabusa is also a lot more relaxed. The new model has a better stability at higher speeds.
As for the suite, riders can find 10-stage tractions control, six power modes, 10-stage wheelie controls, and a 2-stage quick shifter along with 3-stage brake controls. The new Suzuki Hayabusa also features cruise control, speed limiter, hill-hold control, and slope controls. All in all, this bike is going to be a joy to ride with the aplenty options for the riders.
The new Suzuki Hayabusa bike will be available in three attractive colour combinations. However, it will not show up in the markets before 2022 – priced at $27,690 AUD.
