The Rock has shared a mental health hack that everyone can learn to get some much-needed mental peace. Many of Dwayne Johnson’s fans and followers have recently discovered that he is a dedicated fisherman. He spends a lot of time at his happy place, which is a huge farm in Charlottesville, Virginia. He is currently there and enjoying a hobby that is good for his mental health – fishing.


In an Instagram post shared by The Rock, he said, “So good to get away to my farm this past weekend to decompress, take a mental inventory, and of course – spend time with my babies.” He added, “I’ve been raising my fish for over a decade now – largemouth bass, striped bass, trout, carp, sunfish… I work closely with a great team of university biologists, ensuring a thriving ecosystem for the fish to live. All my fish are fat, healthy, happy, and AGGRESSIVE TO EAT – like their owner.”


Explaining when his love for fishing began, The Rock added, “I fell in love with fishing when I was a little boy, so quiet time like this away from the noise means everything to me… a little reminder to all you guys of the importance of self-care.”
