The Lamborghini Essenza SCV12 was unveiled in Italy, and it looks like a track-only luxurious vehicle. Only 40 models of this unique car would be created, and the price will likely be into the seven figures. The vehicle fulfills the safety regulations set by FIA (the governing body behind racing events like Formula One) for prototype-class cars. Here’s what’s so special about it.

For those of you who are unaware, prototype cars are race cars that are created to compete in the World Endurance Championship. For instance, they are suitable for races such as the 24 Hours Le Mans. The key highlight of the Lamborghini Essenza SCV12 is that it has the “most powerful V12 from Lamborghini to date.” capable of delivering 830 horsepower.

Some other features that make Lamborghini Essenza SCV12 a worthy buy are specially designed exhaust pipes that reduce back pressure and improve performance. It also has a six-speed sequential gearbox, rear-wheel drive, and a carbon fibre monocoque chassis.

The wheels of the Lamborghini Essenza SCV12 are also impressive as they are 19 inches in the front and about 20 inches in the back. They are made from lightweight magnesium. The car’s aerodynamics are excellent as they provide downforce and cooling. Another impressive feature is the adjustable rear wing.

Forty lucky people who buy the Lamborghini Essenza SCV12 will also get access to driving the vehicle on “the most prestigious circuits in the world.” They will also get to store their vehicle at a new hangar that was built at Lamborghini’s headquarters, which are located in Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy. The hangar includes webcams that allow a buyer to watch it 24 by 7.

The owners will also be tutored by renowned personalities like Emanuele Pirro, who won Le Mans 24 Hour five times, and Lamborghini factory driver Marco Mapelli. The tutoring will be done at the ‘arrive and drive’ events that are scheduled to be held at FIA Grade 1 circuits.

The Lamborghini Essenza SCV12 will be built by the Lamborghini Squadra Corse motorsports division that is situated in Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy.

If you are impressed by the Lamborghini Essenza SCV12, you can also check out Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Xago Edition or Lamborghini Sian Roadster, as they are quite impressive as well.
