After Facebook’s ban on the account of Donald Trump, Twitter has now permanently suspended the account of Trump, @realDonaldTrump.

Twitter released a statement saying that the two tweets that led to the suspension of the account of Donald Trump.

The two tweets in question were accessed and determined to fall under its policy on “Glorification of Violence”, which determined to have encouraged/inspired Trump supporters to act out the insurrection that took place at the U.S. Capitol on the 6th of January, 2021. Trump’s social media account had 88 million followers and tweeted more than 57,000 times.
