Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield Confirmed to Return in Spider-Man 3

Doctor Stephen Strange will bring the three Spider-Men together

Just shortly after rumours broke, reports are now noting that actors Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield are confirmed to appear in the upcoming Spider-Man 3. This would help establish a live-action Marvel’s Spider-Verse, the actors have signed up to reprise their respective roles as Peter Parker/Spider-Man next to Tom Holland’s Peter Parker/Spider-Man.

 

Although not much details are known about the new Spider-Man film, the reports note that Doctor Stephen Strange will bring the three Spider-Men together for the first time to go against the threat of their combined foes. This upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe project is expected to feature a group of supervillains including Scorpion, Kraven the Hunter, Electro and the Green Goblin. With the appearance of the Green Goblin in Spider-Man 3, Marvel fans will see the introduction of Oscorp and Nick Fury’s S.W.O.R.D., a galactic version of S.H.I.E.L.D.
